Christmas / New Year Lottery

Welcome to our Christmas/New Year Anniversary Lottery ushering in the Railways 100th and the Supporters Associations 60th Anniversaries.

The funds generated will go towards furthering the Supporters Associations aims and provide support to the Railway to continue to steam across the Marsh.

The prize draw will take place on Friday 1st January 2027 as part of the beginning of the RH&DR 100th Anniversary Celebrations, and the Supporters Association 60th Anniversary.

This date will be shown as the expiry date on your ticket(s). Tickets will be issued by separate email.

ONLY UK RESIDENT MEMBERS CAN ENTER THE ANNIVERSARY LOTTERY.

ALL TICKET HOLDERS AND PRIZE WINNERS MUST BE 18+

Tickets are priced at £5 each and a maximum of 10 tickets per member can be purchased. Only RH&DRSA members aged 18 + can purchase tickets. 

However, purchased tickets are transferable to non-members aged 18+. For example, as Christmas/ New Year “Stocking fillers”.

First Prize – 1 x Silver Driver Experience. 

Second Prize – 1 x Signaller Experience.

Third Prizes – 2 x Footplate Rides. (1 each per Winner).

Fourth Prizes – 3 x Golden Rover Tickets (1 each per Winner).

Fifth Prizes – 5 x Copies of the RH&DRSA Centenary Book (1 each per Winner).

Only UK resident members can enter the lottery.

The lottery will be run and maintained by the RH&DRSA

Only RH&DRSA members aged 18 + can purchase tickets. However, purchased tickets are transferable to non-members aged 18+. For example, as Christmas/ New Year ‘Stocking fillers”.

If tickets are to be transferred to another person their name(s) must be submitted to membership@rhdrsa.org within 24hours of purchase, so tickets can be issued in the additional name(s). If no notification of additional names is received by Membership all tickets will go out in the purchaser’s name. Once tickets are sent out, they cannot be amended/updated.

Winners will need to meet the RH&DR’s Health and Safety standards and complete an indemnity form before being allowed to participate in the experience. Experience Courses are ONLY open to anyone who is over the age of 18 years and is physically fit. (For details see  https://www.rhdr.org.uk/experience-days-terms/)

Only the Association member who purchased the winning ticket number will be contacted by the RH&DRSA

Tickets to be available for online sale only from 5th October 2026 until 31st December 2026. Only tickets purchased between these dates will be eligible for the draw. 

Ticket numbers will be selected by sequential number and all tickets purchased emailed to purchasing member. The ticket number will be shown as a membership number on the ticket and will be different for each ticket purchased

The draw will take place on Friday 1st January 2027 as part of the beginning of the RHDR Anniversary Celebration. This date will be shown as the expiry date on your ticket(s)

Winning numbers will be advertised on both RH&DR and RH&DRSA Website and Facebook pages no later than Monday 4thJanuary

Winning tickets will be crossed referenced against the RH&DRSA database and will need to be claimed by 31st January 2027.

The winning experience prize will need to be taken on dates and times agreed by the RH&DR. This will be no later than 31stOctober 2027. 

Prizes not claimed will be returned to the Railway and/or Supporters Association. 

There will be no alternative monetary equivalent to the prizes offered.
