Membership of the Association is open to all. Benefits include a magazine, discounted travel and purchases, special invitations and chances to take part in the railway’s activities.

Lead Members also get one Free Journey Ticket annually,  giving a day’s free travel.

Membership Rates 2025 – Effective from 1st December 2024

• All memberships are non-transferable and cards must only be used by the member named on the card.
• Membership cards (or a valid Welcome Pack Email) must be shown to claim discounted travel rates. If you have prebooked tickets online you will still be required to show your membership card on day of travel. Failure to produce a valid membership card will result in full fare being charged.
• FAMILIES – Each family member must be registered on the system. Please add one by one after entering your own details. Each family member will receive their own membership card for use when travelling.
• Please note that secondary identification may be requested at ticket offices to prevent any suspected misuse.
• Each membership category is entitled to one free pass annually
